Dr. Jingjing Cao LL.M. specializes in the areas of investment bank, finance and securities and intellectual property laws as well. She is an expert in legal affairs relating to cross-border transactions, merger & acquisition, asset backed securitization and intellectual property rights and experienced in providing legal services to both domestic and overseas clients.
In the area of investment bank, Jingjing participated in re-financing projects of listing companies. As project leader, she handled projects of major asset restructuring of listing companies, acquisition of commercial bank, inland and overseas investment of private funding as well as other merger and acquisition projects.
In the area of finance, Jingjing provided legal services relating to asset backed securitization, listing and transfer of beneficiary rights of trust as well as other business related legal and compliance matters for securities companies, trust companies, financial leasing companies, asset management companies and other financial institutions.
In the fields of intellectual property rights, Jingjing has handled and is handling matters including trademark application, opposition and cancellation, trademark administrative litigations at 1st and 2nd instance court as well as retrial at Supreme People’s Court, trademark administrative and judicial enforcement, infringement and invalidation of invention patent, utility models and designs, legal advices relating to anti-unfair competition law, IP due diligence. She advises international companies on R&D activities in China, inventions made in China as well as service invention, recordal of technology import and export contracts, negotiation and drafting of license agreements on IP and sports right. Jingjing also provides personnel trainings for large-scale Chinese enterprises on framework of European intellectual property laws and supported Chinese clients in overseas IP litigation proceedings.
Working Experience and Education Background
Jingjing joined JunZeJun Law Offices in 2015. Before that, she worked with a European law firm in its offices in Munich and Beijing and has gained foreign-related professional experience for more than 10 years.
Jingjing studied law at University of Wuhan and Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and obtained her doctorate at Max Planck Institute for Invention and Competition.
