Mr. Wang Zhenyang Spoke in Istanbul on One Belt, One Road Turkey-China Economic Forum

 

On October 31, 2018, the third session of the 'One Belt, One Road Turkey-China Economic Forum' was held in Istanbul, Turkey. Mr. Wang Zhengyang, a senior partner at Shanghai JunZeJun Law Offices, invited by Turkey’s Okan University, delivered a speech on 'Legal Risk Management for Turkish Investors—Investing in China. Mr. Wang’s speech intends to promote Turkish investment in China by introducing relevant legal guidance, and further promote the development of China-Turkey trade.

 

 

 

Mr. Wang Zhengyang has extensive experience in cross-border investment and he maintains good cooperative relationships with various country’s government agencies. In 2011, Mr. Wang Zhengyang served as the chief representative in China for the Turkey Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency.

 

During the speech, Mr. Wang Zhengyang introduced new investment opportunities in China under the active promotions from the Chinese government, who has been focusing on market liberalization and investment facilitation. The Chinese government is launching a series of major opening measures in twenty-two fields including banking, automobiles, railway lines, power grids, gas stations, etc. These areas encompass new opportunities for foreign investors to invest in China. Meanwhile, China is entering an era dominated by service and consumer industries. In the near future, China will have a large investment space in the consumer service industry. Among them, the pension industry, information software and technology services industries are thriving. Additionally, green energy industry is also a great field to invest in because the Chinese government is taking a solid stand on environmental issues. 

 

Based on his past extensive experience counseling foreign owned enterprises in China, Mr. Wang Zhengyang introduced regulatory rules and different challenges that Turkish companies should pay attention to when investing in China.

 

 

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Turkey, the two countries have maintained a great economic and trade relations. China has become the largest exporter and the 14th largest importer to Turkey. An open China will bring a huge opportunity for Turkish entrepreneurs. We firmly believe that trade-relation between China and Turkey will create a win-win situation.
