Mr. Li Zhongsheng specializes in intellectual property ("IP") litigation and dispute resolution. His core areas of expertise include patent invalidation and confirmation administrative litigation, patent infringement civil litigation and patent ownership disputes, trademark confirmation administrative litigation and trademark infringement civil litigation, unfair competition cases (particularly trade secret infringement litigation), antitrust civil litigation and administrative complaints, standard-essential patent ("SEP") infringement litigation and licensing rate disputes, copyright infringement civil litigation, and technology contract disputes.

During his tenure at the People's Court, Mr. Li presided over hundreds of IP civil disputes. Several cases were selected by the Supreme People's Court as guiding precedents published in the Official Gazette. Notably, the NIKE trademark infringement case he adjudicated was cited as a representative example of China's equal protection of extraterritorial IP rights during the China-U.S. IP negotiations.
