Jae-Yong Park serves as a Foreign Legal Counsel at JunZeJun Law Offices and is also a Partner at DLG Law Corporation in Korea. He is a licensed attorney in Korea and a registered patent attorney. His primary areas of practice include intellectual property, personal information/data compliance, cross-border mergers & acquisitions and dispute resolution.

 

Mr. Park specializes in providing legal counsel on Korean law for Chinese companies and international enterprises. His areas of expertise encompass advising on company establishment and investment, mergers and acquisitions, business partnerships, compliance issues related to various Korean business operations, as well as civil, commercial, and criminal litigation. He also offers legal advice based on Korean law for companies involved in arbitration proceedings in Hong Kong.

 

Mr. Park also supports Korean parties involved in joint ventures or collaborative projects in China, offering assistance in areas such as foreign investment, China-Korea cooperation, management for personal information and compliance with cross-border data transfer regulations, intellectual property and trade secret protection, mergers and acquisitions, as well as cross-border litigation and arbitration between China and Korea.

 

Mr. Park has extensive expertise in civil, criminal, and administrative litigation at law firms in Korea dealing with matters involving patent rights, copyrights, trademark rights, unfair competition, and personal information disputes. He has also provided advisory services on corporate transactions and compliance matters. In criminal cases, he has participated in police and prosecutorial investigations and defended clients in court.

 

Additionally, Mr. Park has significant experience in business management, marketing strategy, and operations management at Naver Corporation, which is one of the largest internet & tech company in Korea. He has in-depth knowledge and expertise in the internet industry, high-tech sectors, and content-related industries such as gaming and music.

Working Experience and Education Background

Mr. Park joined JunZeJun Law Offices in 2021. Prior to this, he practiced as an attorney at domestic law firms in Korea and worked at Naver Corporation.

 

Mr. Park holds a Bachelor's degree from Korea University and a Master of Laws from Chungnam National University Law School in Korea. He later obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Chinese Civil and Commercial Law from Peking University Law School.
